Purple Fairy Cosmetics Review x Giveaway

If kilay is life, liptint is life also for me. There was a phase in my life where I'd hoard every new lipstick in the market. But suddenly, I grew tired of it. BOO.  

When I purchased my first liptint and knew how versatile it was for a busy mom like me, I had already a thing for liptints. In a span of a year, I bought several local and foreign brands and of course there were mixed emotions about it. There is just something about it that tells me still, they do belong to the same mother but unique in every way. 

It is about time for me to throw some of it because I have been using it beyond six months already. Do not get me wrong though, I store my liptints in a cold and dry place (refrigerator) that is why, I could still use it beyond it's shelf life. Now it's time to hunt for a new local brand when suddenly I came across the owner of the brand I have been eyeing to try for the longest time. 


Anyway, so much for blabbing here and let's get to the review. 


Packaging. It comes in two packaging, one in a roller bottle and the other one which is similar to Benetint which has a cute brush on it. I like it as there is precision when applying the product on my lips when I layer it. The only thing is that, you really have to be careful of spillage when using the product. 


Consistency. It is a water tint so the product is somewhat runny but it is so lightweight that you will not feel any product applied on your lips. 


Longevity. The product lasts on my lips for as long as you do not remove it, most especially when you layer it. But when you eat oily food, some of the product will be wiped off. If you also use it as a cheek tint, it stays longer than regular powder blush most especially when you put it on with a base (foundation/BB cream). Just make sure to put some products on your ring finger first to avoid streak finish on your cheeks and do not forget to blend it. 


Color Pay off. As what I have said in my instagram post, it was love at first swipe. You can get the color in one swipe. As you layer also, it turns into a matte finish, just like what the brand claims. 


Price. It is affordable for those who are looking for an affordable make up. One tint costs P120 pesos and a little goes a long way.

Here are the swatches on my arm. For reference, I am Morena skin. My top three favorites are Red Jasmine, Violet Heather and Coral Aurelia. 


Final thoughts.

I would recommend this to all moms who are on the go and looking for affordable and versatile products. Their dark tints also doesn't have the stingy sensation when applied to the lips unlike other local brands. You also need to be careful when applying this on your lips not to stain your teeth as these are water tints and might come in contact easily with your teeth. The best thing about this is it is organic and local product. You know very well that I support local products and as much as I can, promote them here in my blog but of course those that I have tried and tested and that really worked for me.

    I take vitamin C para iwas sakit at maganda ang balat at hair..
    Wala po akong masyadong ritual sa katawan lalo na sa face basta hilamos ligo lng po tlga ..lotion nope feeling ko po ang lagkit ko..
    Make ups ok na po skin ung pulbo at lipstick lng gora na po ako nun ..
    Gustong gusto ko po makatry ng liptint ksi ang gaganda po tlga ng mga review sa knila kaso waley pabudget hehe ..

  3. I am a simple MOM... Apply BB Cream Then KILAY and Liptints is my essential make-up tools... Time-concious Kasi ako that's why I only spend minimal time pagdating sa self pampering... I feel guilty pag medyo napapatagal Kasi I have two daughters pa na kailangan ayusan at asikasuhin. Pinakapamper time ko na is yung makapagpa spa or pedicure once in a while and madalas with the two kids pa din together since I'm a single mom... No regrets Naman Kasi I still enjoy it knowing na kikay din un mga bebe girl ko... I can say na kahit Single Mom ako I'd still take care of myself Naman Po... I always use facial wash to take care of my face, lotion... And especially sunblock lalo na pagaalis ng bahay...

  4. I used sunscreen everyday & lotion for protection from sun. For day and night beauty regimen I used toner and moisturizer. To pamper myself I do facial treatment and a body massage.

I take care of myself by getting enough sleep (I know this is hard for mommas like you and me, but I'm thankful that my lo sleeps at night, she only cries a little looking for milk and goes back to sleep.😊), taking vitamins if I feel the need for it, hydrating, slathering spf if I know Im gonna be sun exposed for a long time, eat healthy as much as possible and giving in to my cravings from time to time! As for pampering it doesn't have to be real fancy. At home , a long uninterrupted bath is always lovely (but also very rarely hahaha)!massages and body scrubs does wonder too! I got an aromatherapy lotion from a balikbayan cousin and its smells great, gives me a good mood boost(I almost wanted to reapply every so often) and the name is a great reminder of what mood to be in! HAPPINESS!

  7. As a mom of three, super stress talaga lalo pag sabay-sabay sila nangungulit. Syempre for me, need ko talaga ng stress reliever lalo sa kundisyon ko na may thyroid disorder. I do jogging and zumba with my husband and kids every 3-4 times a week. In a way,hindi lang stress ang nawawala sakin kundi pati mga fats,hihihi! Syempre kung sa pansarili talaga, i pamper myself with manicure and pedicure moment once in a while at hindi rin mawawala ang pagpapaganda sa sarili. Konting suklay, blush at lipstick or lipgloss,viola! Swak na ako dun. And movie marathon while lying on my bed is my ultimate pampering time!

  8. To take care of myself first and foremost i sleep early. I just make sure that i get enough sleep. This will help my skin to repair itself. Then i eat healthy fooda such as veggies and fruits. And aside from drinking 12 glasses of water daily, i also drink fresh fruit juices to freshen up my body. Everyday i see to it that i got time to have some exercise like jogging, sit ups etc. Need to sweat to loosen uo some fats and toxins in my body. πŸ˜‰ hmmm, and sometimes i cheat. Of course i need to have some sweet treat for mysel!

  9. At the age of 32, beginner pa lang ako sa pagmimake up. I'm never used to it kahit nun teen pa lang ako. Hehe. Pero ngayon na I'm a mother of 1 na.. Nagkainteres ako kase sobrang naaamazed ako sa mga vids na napapanood ko from beauty vloggers like you. Naisip ko di pa naman huli to learn more.
    Simple skincare routines ko, facial wash/scrub then moisturizer. Kase oily face ako I never used ng mga intensive face cosmetics. Facial mask 1 or 2x a week. I'm also a liptint lover. For me kase madali sya iaapply and long lasting talaga. Affordable pa and very versatile,can be a cheek tint. Lalo na sa working mom like me na during break time lang nakakapag retouch.

  13. i take care of myself (in addition sa unang comment ) by using natural na nasa house para tipid tipid. I use coffee grounds and bit of honey twice or once a week lang sa face and body. Alternate use ng tomato for the face or kalamansi din. Because i bfeed, mga 3L a day of water iniinom ko😊

  14. Sensitive kasi talaga yung skin ko. May allergy ako sa malalansang pagkain kagaya ng Chicken at itlog kaya kung maaari Hindi talaga ako kumakain ng mga yan kahit sabik na sabik na ako kasi ang hirap kapag pumantal at nangati ang balat lalo na sa binti kasi magpepeklat. Kaya para maingatan ko ang sarili ko. Double check ang mga sabon at lotion na ginagamit ko. Kailangan yung hiyang ang balat at yung nakasanayan ko na. Bawal kumain ng pagkain na bawal.

I pampered myself by using skin care products that will not harmed my skin, using cleansers and toners, especially in everyday we do and we exposed into pollution outside and in sun, i used facial creams with sunblocks, to stay moistured and protected to sun rays, in the end of the day, washing my face with luke warm water, and using facial foams and after that putting facial cleansers and milk toner, and putting night cream on my face
    And another care for the skin, is a water theraphy, healthy food such as vegetables, organic foods, to have a glowing and beautiful skin, not for skin but for body too

  17. I pamper myself po by taking of my health kc lalabas sa skin ntin if we don't. I sleep early, sinsbyan ko ang baby ko n matulg, hndi n din kc aq sany mgpuyat. I wake up early to do some stretching and exercise. Face mask and body scrub ang pinka pampering ko, at masasabi kong favorite ko xa. I know n mhirap mging mom but rewarding when I see my baby, happy, healthy and having fun discovering his surroundings kya un smile nia din ang isa s mga ngaalis ng stress s life ko.   18. Wow the colors are so lovely. I like all the colors. Simula pa noon gusto ko nang magtry nang ganyan since marami na akong nababasa na magagandang feedback at reviews about sa mga lip tint kaya lang no budget pa mas inuuna muna ang needs ng mga kiddos.

    Anyways, i pamper myself or take care myself sa pagliligo lang po araw araw minsan 2 or 3 tines pa aq naliligo hehehe. Then hilamos lang po using ponds facial wash then flawlessyU eskinol then pulbo at lipstink hehehe.

  22. I love wearing makeups, kaso hindi po ako marunong mag apply. Sad, but thats the reality. haha lalo na yun sa pagkikilay, ang hirap bes,.. Kaya ang ginagawa ko nalang, moisturizer, bb crema, face powder,and lipstick, ok na ang araw ko.. Tas sa gabi, kahit super pagod na, kailangan ko po talaga e wash out yun mga inaplay ko then cleanser, din korean face mask para ma relax ang face bes. Alam na, bawal magmukhang lusyang. hahaha Din drink plenty of water para always dehydrated.

After my work and before I sleep I have my night time regimen on my skin by washing mild facial wash, applying toner and moisturizing cream this keeps my skin soft and looking youn ��. Sleep is also very important, as a working mother sleep and rest really makes my body and mind more relaxing and energized. But what really makes me happy is my son and hubby, if we are together happy and healthy it makes me glow inside and out.

  25. Me as a full-time mom, I don't have time to pamper myself and go to the mall by myself. Laging kasama ang daughter ko yun ang We time namin. �� Never ko na-experience magpa massage, magpa mani-pedi dahil unang-una nanghihinayang ako sa pera, magpa massage nalang ako sa asawa ko at magpa pedi mag-isa nakatipid pa ako nagka-bonding pa kami ng hubby ko bcoz I do his pedicure also �� pero syempre ayoko magmukha losyang kaya naman di ko pinapabayaan ang sarili ko. Meron akong daily skincare routine na ginagawa, gumagmit ako ng toner, moisturizer at ganun din sa gabi. �� We also eat healthy foods para iwas sakit at maganda ang skin. More on water din para hydrated lagi ang skin. Yan lang ang mga simple ways ko para hindi ko mapabayaan ang sarili ko at ang family ko. Nagme-make up ako minsan pero lipstick at kilay lang ay sapat na sakin. ❤ At the end of the day its still my family who takes care of me and makes me happy.   30. For a fulltime mom like me bihira ko mapamper ang sarili ko tulad ng spa and or massage or shopping or going out alone. Ever since my 18 month old baby came to our life,palage sa kany naka focus ang oras at atensiyon ko. We do go out some times as a family,lunch out or dinning out. And happy na ako s mga simpleng labas na ganon basta kasama pamilya ko. In taking care of my skin nman,i make sure na hindi Ako natutulog ng meron eyeliner(kilay) at lipstick. Yan lng kasi inilalagay ko s mukha ko. I do bike sometimes pr labas ang mga toxins s katawan. Eat heathy as much as possible dahil breastfeeding mom din ako.

I don't wanna overthink about things i just simply shake it off and live life to the fullest. I eat what i want to eat and what i crave. But of course i exercise to burn out all the fats i gained.   32. Working girl po ako ay di maiwasan amg mastress sa work. But i always find time and make sure na magkaroon ng me time. Syempre i see to it na i got enough sleep before i go to bed nagtetake ako ng vitamins para fresh ako pagkagising ko. Sometimes i go to salon and spa or to to massage parlor para mapawi ang pagod ng katawan ko. To make me relax minsan i open up my playlists and put my earphones on. This way nakakapagpakalma ito sakin at feeling ko nawawala yung mga negative and bad vibes. ��

  33. As a Mom of 4 indeed taking care of myself is a must. Para mas maalagaan ko sila kelangan mas alagaan ko din sarili ko. First eating healthy food and drinking a lot of water is on my list.im taking some vitamins and supplements to boost my immunity. And get enough sleep. Secondary na lng yun mga beauty essentials. Washing my face is always a must for me. Toner and cream for glowing skin.

  34. I am a working mom and we know the fact that it requires juggling office and home but I am making sure that I have time to take care/pamper myself because it is very important.

    Here's what I do in taking caring and pampering myself:

    1. Having a "me time" and that includes uninterrupted bathing time. That is only my time to be with myself and to clean it and I am maximizing it.
    2. I eat healthy, I exercise, I take vitamins, and drink 3-4 liters of water a day. This is making me fit and healthy and I want to set a good example to my daughter and family for them to do the same.
    3. I am making sure that I've got my facial, massage, hair trim or spa, mani and pedi atleast once a month. This makes me feel good, relaxed, confident and beautiful.
    4. I used organic products especially on my skin. This ensures me that it will not harm my skin and will make it glowing.

  35. What are my pamper routine?
    As an engineering student, I always felt stress because of our projects, assignments, reports and quizzes and subjects that aren't major but feeling MAJOR �� so here's how do I pamper myself....
    First, I eat some sweets, I will not make use of my PHONE as in NO PHONE, TAB and etc gadgets, and then I go to the bathroom. I can spend hours in my little bathroom taking a hot shower, use body scrub, use facemasks, pamper my skin, painting my nails and why not. That's all. ������

For me na mother of 4 kids and full time housewife kahit ako lahat ang gumgawa ng gawaing bahay at ngbreastfeed saking baby na 1 yrs old ..hindi ko nakakalimutan magayos kahit nasa bahay lang ako..simple lng ang pangaraw araw kong gamit facial foam.cream at liptint lng..hindi kailngn ng marming makeup para lng maging mganda..pagging malinis at maayos kalng sapat na pra magbloom ang ating ganda
