For the past two years, I have been carrying with me an expired PRC ID. During those years, it was either I was preoccupied being a mother or I just don't have someone to take care of my kids while I procure a new one. But as of late, I learned that I could renew it at SM business centers and wait for 3 months for the ID’s release. Honestly, whenever we go to the malls, I never had liberty of doing what needs to be done because of the kids and the what nots. Until I discovered the most convenient way of doing it. How did I do it? By following these three easy steps.

1. Register online. Go to the PRC website and key in your details. Upload a clear 2 x 2 photo and make sure you follow the guidelines as stated in the website for you to be able to make transactions. After you input all details, select the necessary transaction. I chose PRC ID Renewal.

2. Make a payment. After selecting your transaction, you may now choose payment options which is convenient for you. I chose online banking and made a payment to Dragonpay and followed the steps for confirmation. If you do online shopping more often, then you are familiar with this step. Please note though that there are a lot of payment options available.

3. Schedule Pick-Up. After payment confirmation, you are now asked to schedule a pick-up. You can choose from which satellite office to pick-up your ID. Please note that you need to bring with you your expired PRC ID as well as a printed copy of transaction for filing purposes with PRC to prevent delay of the release. You can get your printed ID in less than 20minutes.

It is good that PRC or some government offices came up with the idea since it is now easy to make online transactions as well as payments. This is a huge help to those parents who are juggling responsibilities in between as well as parents who doesn't have help just like me.

Have you tried renewing your PRC License online yet? This might help you.
