Cloth Diaper Review: Quigle Bum

In my almost ten months of our exclusive cloth diapering journey, I've tried several brands already. Mostly are local and international brands and thankfully everything worked well with us. This will be a series of posts of different brands that I will share with you. Hopefully, I could write my reviews on all the brands so you can have idea on what to expect from a certain brand based on my honest review.

Quigle Bum is a brand that is most sought after most of the mommies because of its performance. It is owned by a Filipina mom and nappies are manufactured in China. I was lucky enough to get a hold of at least a few pieces of it when I started our cloth diaper journey. I got  it preloved from one of the mommies in our group.

The nappy brand is always sold out in their website and because of the demand, buying them takes longer than usual. Now, I understand the craze and will tell you the reasons why.

Snap Down Rise setting. Among the One Size nappies I have tried, this one has three female snaps that will allow you to adjust properly the setting according to your baby’s size. That makes a perfect fit for your baby. It can also be used in newborn babies.

Three female snaps
Longer hip panels. Side by side comparison with other China nappies, this one has longer hip panels that can perfectly fit bigger babies.

Trimmer crotch. The shape has been tailored well to fit chunky legs of some babies which allows perfect fit.

Good quality MF. Amongst other MF inserts from China nappies, in my opinion, this brand has a good quality Microfiber material. Thus better absorption of wee and no leaks for at least 6-8 hours of sleep for a medium wetter baby.

Falkor
Overlapping back flaps. The overlapping inner fabric at the back serves as a guard to prevent leaks behind the nappy.

Extra tummy snaps. This nappy comes with an extra tummy snap to keep the diaper in place.

Mintachio

Wide selection of colors and design. Yes, the reason why we love the brand too is the cute selection of colors and designs. A reason to collect prints right?

Downside:

Longer waiting time. Took me a bout a month to receive the huge portion of our stash. This brand is pre ordered and few only are the lucky ones who can order from their website.

More Snaps. Okay, as what I've said it is good that they have more snaps in front for that perfect fit. However, the dilemma comes when your child is already at the stage where putting diapers is already a struggle.

Overall, I would highly recommend this to all the mommies who wants to build their permanent stash for their babies. Aside from the fact that the new batches have improvement on their inner lining fabric, their insert is just excellent absorbency!

Where to get? On their website: quiglebaby.com and other online nappy resellers.
