Life As A Supermom

Hello mommies!

I know I have been on a hiatus lately due to the vacay aftermath and my son’s third birthday preparations. Plus I had tons of unending chores with two little monsters making a mess. I will make kuwento about what happened to our mini vacay and what happened the past week. Stay tuned for that.

Being a mom is not an easy job. I thought when I entered this phase of my life, everything that I projected in my mind will happen in real life. It was close to perfection. But life as you know it, is full of surprises. My kids right now are too much to handle that their sleeping time means me-time for me, which includes 70% household chores, 10% blogging, 10% errands and 10% self-pampering all at the same time. I am just glad that I can do multi-tasking most of time and if not, by the time they are up and about, everything will be in chaos state again. Sometimes, I get breakdowns too and I cry my heart out of stress but then, I have to get back on my feet and compose myself for the kids and to serve and take care of them well. I know it is a lot for us mothers but it is our prime duty to ensure our family’s needs are met. How do I do it? I honestly don’t have any idea until I finish all the chores and accomplished a lot of things in a day. My mind set includes positive thinking and happy thoughts that sometimes fail me if things don’t go my way. But still, I have to fight the little grouchiness and accommodate only happy thoughts.

Now, I encourage mothers to share their piece of story to become an inspiration to struggling mothers. Let us enliven others and give each other a pat on the back for doing a good job. Start collecting your thoughts and put it into writing. I know each of us has its own version of being a supermom. Remember, sharing is a good stress therapy.

All you need is email your story to info@babyexpo.ph with the subject "Life as A Supermom", as much as possible submit your stories in  .doc file. Composition must be at least 300 words and include at least two photos.

Before I end this post, I would like to share this photo to each one of you. Does this look familiar? Hhhmmm...

Happy Sharing Mommies!
