Wyeth® PROMAMA® unveils the Baby’s First Gift to You, an event that aims to provide expectant moms a gift like no other. An experience that allows her to see a real time first gift ever from her baby. The Baby’s First Gift to your device detects the movement of the babies in the womb and translates it into an artwork.

“Expectant moms would be surprised to know that the baby’s brain is up to 25 percent developed already, by 28 weeks. By using the Baby’s First Gift technology, moms will be amazed by their baby’s development, while in the womb since they will see how their baby’s movement can create artworks, uniquely created just for them,” said Ms. Jong Icasiano, Wyeth Nutritionist.

Ms. Icasiano, also said that nutrition plays an important role in the baby’s health and brain development, and choosing the right maternal milk is key to support a healthy pregnancy.

“Pregnancy is a special time in a woman’s life and is a reminder of the gift of motherhood—and the need to ensure maternal and fetal health. By choosing the right maternal milk, expectant moms can help their babies get the best start in life so they can have a bright tomorrow,” said Ms. Icasiano.

As a modern mom, I still believe in the magic of books. That in this digital era, children must learn how to use books and scour through the leaves and make their imagination run wild through the stories. But every child has a different style and way of learning. One cannot be the same as the other, especially that there are eight multiple intelligences.

Grolier one of the largest US Book Publishers including The Book of Knowledge (1910), The New Book of Knowledge (1966), The New Book of Popular Science (1972), Encyclopedia Americana (1945), Academic American Encyclopedia (1980), and numerous incarnations of a CD-ROM encyclopedia. Grolier Inc was established in Boston, the USA in 1895. Over the years, they have grown leaps and bounds into a multi-national corporation with over 70 branches Worldwide-USA, Europe and Asia. In Asia, Grolier has been operated for over 50 years and its mission is to become the leading 'In-Home Learning Experts' by providing quality products to help parents educate, entertain and motivate at home.

Being a work at home mom of three kids, it is quite challenging for me on how to keep them busy and not resort to screen time. Each of them show different interest which is why I strongly believe in nurturing your children's multiple intelligence.

I was able to attend The Grolier Carnival Fair in Festival Mall. They had so many activities for the kids which included a magic show, face painting, inflatable fun cube, and interactive learning corner. They also offered a free assessment of multiple intelligence of your kids.

Grolier which was trusted by my parents for so many years has been continuously innovating with regards to the products that they offer to the market. The newest product which is the Grolier Keymatic empowers a student to free up working memory so that it can be devoted to problem-solving, learning new concepts and higher level math skills. It comes with 5 Grolier Keymatic sets, 4 Wipe Clean workbooks, 4 Wipe Clean Marker pens and 1 parent guide book. It utilizes 3 senses, which are visual, auditory and kinesthetic for effective learning. Thus, it is a fun and unique way of memorizing math facts as it tackles addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions.

Grolier is guided by two principles which are child development and multiple intelligence. They also explore the building blocks of the child's development, which are the following: language, IQ, knowledge, and creativity. In this way, they fully assess each child's multiple intelligence and suggests a product perfect for their interest.

The beginning of the year is always one of the most exciting times! We open a new chapter and have another chance to start over. The year ahead of us is full of blank pages waiting to be written.

During this time, we have a chance to reflect on our previous year: the growth we made, the chances we did and didn’t take, the goals we achieved and those that became less important.

This period gives us the opportunity to plan out our dreams and goals for the year. Don’t miss out on this chance to make major changes in your life! Take hold of the opportunity now at the beginning of the year by drafting out your goals. Don’t know how to get started? Check out these 3 resolutions you NEED on your list and action plans for how you can make your dreams a reality.

1. Improve your sleep

The older we get, the less we think about our sleep. Often, we neglect it and have to go on with getting less and less sleep.

2019 is the year you make the change. Maybe you feel run out of time and don’t know how you could possibly give up any extra hours to sleeping each day.  Between work, kids, keeping up with the house, and all of the other little chaotic components of life, no one could blame you.

If getting more quantity of ZZZs isn’t practical for you, focus on working on the quality of your sleeping hours. Take advantage of the time you do have to maximize on your rest. Whether this means you need to prevent light pollution in your room by hanging up blackout curtains, invest in a sound machine to block out noises, or go the extra mile and find a better bed that fits your personal needs, it’s important that you figure out what it takes to improve your rest.

Say goodbye to the days full of yawns and desperate runs to the coffee maker! By getting better quality sleep, you’ll be more energized and ready to take on the year.

2.  Read more

The benefits of reading are countless! You learn more, gain empathy, enable better conversations with your peers, and it provides a great opportunity for assessing your own self biases.

It may seem difficult to find time to carve out for reading, but there are easy ways to incorporate reading into your daily routine. Bring a book with you to work so you can read on your lunch break, keep a book in your bag for anytime you’re stuck in a waiting room or taking public transportation, or find short stories that you can read without having to sit down for an extended period of time.

If you want to be a lifelong learner, reading is a great tool to enable that, and it’s overall a great method for personal growth!

3. Have more fun

Having fun doesn’t have to be forced by scheduled activities. You can have fun every day if you adjust your mentality. Plus, the more fun you have, the higher your serotonin and happiness levels are and the lower your stress will be.

Change up your routine every now and then to give yourself unique experiences. Rather than taking the same route to work every day, try taking a new way or a different method of transportation like biking.

There are tons of small changes you can make to make your days more fun. Whether it’s by trying out a new style of clothes, reaching out to talk to new people, or planning a lunch with a friend, you can find simple ways to get more out of life.
