Road to Financial Freedom

“Spendthrift” is my mom’s mantra for how she handles money. As soon as she started giving me monetary money when I was in 6th grade, she would tell me not to spend everything, especially on the things that I do not need. Thanks to my mom, I learned how to save in a piggy bank early on. But as I grow up, things change. I learned that to live a decent life, we need to work hard for the life that we want. FRUGAL WAYS TO SPEND FAMILY DAY

They say that we need to spend more on making memories with the children rather than material things. So as a mom, I came to make it a point to spend at least a day with the kids playing all day long. I know I have been a stay at home parent for as long as I can remember, but it doesn't mean that I have all the time with them. Running a household is not as easy at is it is let alone parent three kids and their dad.

But these times wherein commodities are already expensive, we need to think of ways on how to spend the family day without spending so much. So what are the frugal ways to spend it?

ARTS AND CRAFTS

BAKING

PLAY BIKE AND SCOOTER AT THE PARK
PICNIC AT THE PARK
PLAY FRISBEE AT THE PARK

PLAY BOARD GAMES AT HOME
MOVIE NIGHT AT HOME
BARBECUE NIGHT AT HOME

GENERAL CLEANING

I know this may sound crazy but I believe the family that cleans together, stays together. We clean our house at least twice a month and purge some unnecessary that the kids had accumulated.

Those are some of the frugal ways on how to spend family day at home that I know are achievable. If you have something to add, please comment them below.
