Glorious Coffee That's Good For You

My husband and I loves drinking coffee. In the morning, it is our bonding moment, to sip and eat bread and talk about our plans for the day. But recently, he was diagnosed to have Diabetes Type 2. So I abruptly cut his coffee from his system because he cannot take black coffee. He is really sad about it but I am trying to figure out how to incorporate coffee again in his system. For decades, coffee had received a bad reputation. Besides allegedly triggering high blood pressure, insomnia, and hyperacidity, the Filipino habit of adding lots of sugar and cream to one’s cup has been said to aggravate diabetes. While there’s no denying the Pinoy coffee fan his morning cup, there is concern over the amount of sugar present in commercial 3-in-1 coffee mixes. The leading brand has 14.6 grams of sugar in one 20-gram sachet alone. Imagine how much sugar you’re taking in if you drink an average of three cups of coffee a day. What About Sugar-Free Coffee? Christmas In Bloom; Mommy Bloggers Christmas Party 2017

Being a SAHM for seven long years, I am deprived from a legit human social interaction. And you know also the very reason why I have no help at this point because they are just so rare these days right? For those years, I still yearn to socialize that is the reason why I have this little blog of mine. But heavens must have blessed me more when I found myself my #MomTribe which I am thankful for. This year, I have celebrated Christmas Party again with the mommy bloggers from Mommy Bloggers Philippines. I cannot thank them enough for granting me a sanity even for just a few hours.

The venue is at Vanilla Cupcake Bakery at Quezon City and perfect for intimate gatherings especially for us mommies. It was an intimate party since only few mommy bloggers get the chance to be invited to the party and I am so thankful to be one of them.

What makes this year's party extra special also is baby shower of one of the admin of the community who is behind the blog: Joy Bites (www.joybites.com).

Bloggy mommy friends: Petite Mom's World and All Around Pinay Mama

I am always grateful to be invited in this once a year celebration. Really makes me feel proud of our community in helping each other grow. From the bottom of our hearts, I would like to say thank you to the admins and our dear sponsors. Until our next one.
