Glorious Coffee That's Good For You

My husband and I loves drinking coffee. In the morning, it is our bonding moment, to sip and eat bread and talk about our plans for the day. But recently, he was diagnosed to have Diabetes Type 2. So I abruptly cut his coffee from his system because he cannot take black coffee. He is really sad about it but I am trying to figure out how to incorporate coffee again in his system. For decades, coffee had received a bad reputation. Besides allegedly triggering high blood pressure, insomnia, and hyperacidity, the Filipino habit of adding lots of sugar and cream to one’s cup has been said to aggravate diabetes. While there’s no denying the Pinoy coffee fan his morning cup, there is concern over the amount of sugar present in commercial 3-in-1 coffee mixes. The leading brand has 14.6 grams of sugar in one 20-gram sachet alone. Imagine how much sugar you’re taking in if you drink an average of three cups of coffee a day. What About Sugar-Free Coffee? 2016; The year that was

2016 is officially over as of writing and it has been 10 days but my body is still in the idle mode. Too many thoughts are coming in and I am like, can I just get a wand to make it all happen in one whoop? If only, then why not? But definitely can’t. Things like it definitely needs hard work to make it all happen.

The past year has been quite a roller coaster of events for us. I, being the SAHM who juggles raising children, keeping my calm in between diaper changes, chores and trying to boost myself as well as talking in monologue and vomiting my thoughts in social media. A mom like me should at least practice my rusty brain so as to keep it going.

But seriously though, I cannot thank well how we are blessed beyond words. The fact that I am way too busy being a mom alone is more than enough to thank for. It only means that I have something to do and thank for everyday that I am busy rearing my children. The past year marks my first year as a newly rebranded blog as well as our youtube channel. The kids, most especially the daughter has decided to create a youtube channel and even though she cannot speak clearly yet, she is like a pro in front of the camera! So, this is yet again a challenge for me to manage my time properly to edit our videos!

I am also thankful that my small online  business has kept me busy as well selling rtw clothes. It helps me pay some of our bills as well as adds fund for my retail therapy. HAHA! Seriously though, this year, I have to budget our funds properly to keep us debt free and keep our finances on track. We cannot afford to loose a single cent just because.

Hopefully and claiming it, we could have a new environment where we can settle down already and call something our new home. We are also hoping for a continuous flow of blessings this year so that we can share them as well to those in need.

So there, I will not talk about negative issues here because it has been stressful enough for me to rekindle those moments. I just want to be happy and gracefully face the challenges this year so we could just spread love always.
