Teachable Moment With Kids: Needs vs Wants

My kids and I have a lot of bonding moments at home, especially now that we are in the second year of this pandemic. They have seen its effects, the limitations, and the people that have been due to the virus. This season is also a perfect time to teach the kids financial literacy since our business is affected during this pandemic. Since they were young, I started teaching them about money. As a parent, it is one of the primary life skills children must learn at home to manage their liquid assets properly. Even in their younger years, I let them use their piggy bank. Any coin that they get changes from the food they buy. They already keep it in their piggy banks.  But how soon must we teach our kids proper money management? Top Three Quick Fx Products

For the past few months, I was in a hunt for a primer because the primer I was eyeing is not available from my favorite online shop. So I decided to search for a good primer which has a good value for money. I came across one product that some of the youtubers are recommending which is the QuickFx.

Honestly, I am not familiar with the product since I really don’t have the opportunity to go out that often. According to the packaging, it is a product of Korea. I am never fond of Korean products not until I was able to try this. It was like love and hate relationship I must say.

If I am not mistaken, Quick Fx has 5 products available at Watsons. But I only got three of which because I feel like those were the only ones that I needed. They have eye cream, the no shine skin mattifier, CC cream, tinted moisturizer as well as the pimple eraser. From their product line, I got the following: No shine skin mattifier, Eye lift cream, and the CC cream.

Will list down my thoughts on each of the product:

No Shine Skin mattifier

Pros:
  • It instantly mattifies the skin leaving a powdery finish.
  • Erases large pores making it invisible.
  • Controls the oil for about four hours maximum.
  • Glides smoothly on skin.
  • Doesn’t have sticky feeling on the skin.
  • Lightweight.
  • Odor free.
  • Travel friendly.
Cons:
  • Some of the foundations/BB creams tend to crease with this pimer.

CC Cream.

Pros:
  • Can give an instant glow to the skin.
  • Corrects skin color with prolonged use.
  • Odorless.
  • Doesn’t have a sticky feeling on the skin.
  • Lightweight on the skin.
  • Travel friendly.
Cons:
  • Creases a lot on my skin and makes my pores more defined and visible.
  • It is too white for my skin tone.
  • Available in one shade only.
  • Tends to cake also after 5 hours.

Eyelift Cream

Pros:
  • Refreshing to the eyes.
  • Works well with some of my concealers that tend to cake.
  • Minimizes fine lines and wrinkles with continued use.
  • Lightweight on the skin.
  • Travel friendly.
  • Odorless.

Cons:
  • Cannot think of anything.

Price: Their products ranges from P50-P90, not bad for a travel sized product.
