KDrama: 18 Again Review and Life Lessons

I started watching Kdrama a few years ago. It was influenced by my sister who is such a fan of Korean actors and I eventually got curious about it. It started with the trending Kdrama that time which I will write about later on. Initially, it was just a pastime because I really love binge watching tv series. Now, I found myself subscribed to Netlfix, Viu and other Kdrama platforms. The first Kdrama that I will be reviewing here is 18 Again. The story is about a young college couple Jung Da Jung (Kim Ha-neul) and Hong Dae Yong (Yong Sang-hyoon) who was blessed with fraternal twins Hong Shi-ah (Roh Jeong-eui) and Hong Shi-woo (Ryeoun). Their marriage started to fall apart when Jung Da Jung thinks that her husband has been into alcohol and not realizing they have pressing problems other than alcohol. Chicken Adobo Penne

I remember our childhood days when we get to eat pasta only during holidays and when there is a celebration. Cooking pasta or spaghetti before was such a big deal, which requires a lot of preparation. I am glad to know that today, I can have it whenever the kids crave for it and it’s easy!

We can also incorporate dishes whenever you like anytime of the day. In lieu of the National Pasta Month, I am sharing with you one of the easiest was to cook pasta with a touch of Filipino dish.

Here is my Chicken Adobo Penne

Ingredients:
  • Chicken, wings cut in half (you can use any part you like)
  • Chicken Liver (this is optional, I just like my Chicken adobo with liver for added taste)
  • Soy Sauce
  • Worcestershire Sauce
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Bay Leaf
  • Garlic, minced
  • Dona Elena, Al Dente Penne Rigate, boiled
  • Dona Elena Olive Oil
  • Grated Parmesan cheese

Procedure:

  • Cook Penne pasta according to package instructions.
  • Cook your Chicken Adobo. Bring chicken wings to a boil on 3 tbsp of water. Add Soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, pepper and bay leaf. Put the chicken liver and boil for two more minutes. Remove from pan.
  • Using the same pan with the remaining sauce from adobo, add olive oil and minced garlic, sauté for few minutes. Add the boiled penne pasta and sauté for another minute and add salt to taste.
  • Serve, top with chicken adobo and Parmesan cheese. Enjoy!

See how easy it is? I bet you do now. Let me know if you tried this, leave a comment on the comment box.
