BDO Supports MSMEs

The Micro, small scale, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are the most challenging hit sector during the pandemic, even if they account for more than 90% of enterprises. They are the backbone of the economy, as MSMEs employ more than 5.3M of our fellow Filipinos.  Governor Benjamin Diokno of the (BSP) Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas has stressed the urgency to help Micro Small Medium Enterprises to help sustain their businesses to continue to provide the best essential products and essential services to people each day.  THE OPPORTUNITY Small business owners can now sustain their business operations through the Kabuhayan Loan of BDO Network Bank (BDONB). The MSMEs operating for three years are now qualified to apply for a loan amounting between PHP 30,000 to PHP1 million. They can purchase the needed equipment, buy the required equipment or assets, increase their inventory of stocks, and expand their business in other locations.  A micro-enterprise owner Ernesto Abad, from Los BaƱos, Laguna

Snappy

I was enrolled in a ballet class because mom was encouraged by a friend to enroll my sister and I. She firmly believed that when we finish the recital, there would somehow be improvement from our not so graceful dance moves. Well, she was right. After our recital there was sudden improvement and there was love for dancing and performing.

As early as now, I am trying to teach the kids few dance routines on how to follow the beat of the music. I allot at least thirty minutes or so in a day for a dance routine. Never a day that it bore them, as they really seem to enjoy doing it with me. I firmly believe that parents play a strong role in influencing the kids of their passion too. But I never saw my mom dance, not in our entire life. It was because it wasn’t her passion but she tried her best to push us to something new to her. After all, parents would like their children to surpass their achievements and that I would like to be in my children as well.

This morning while we were waiting for lunch, we did few routines and I was quite surprised how the kids followed the beat of the music. Well, the only dance move my little girl did was the scooping of the hand move and the never ending jumping and then, one snappy move! Boom! Haha!

I was really amused but because we were all busy with our freestyle routines, I only recorded a few. Sigh.

I hope my little girl amuses you too.
