Mang Inasal hailed as ‘best-tasting chicken inasal’ in the Philippines

Mang Inasal   Chicken Inasal is recognized by Filipinos as the best-tasting grilled chicken in the country, based on a recent imagery survey conducted by a third-party market research agency. Held from November to December 2022, the nationwide study asked 800 consumers which grilled chicken they consider best-tasting, among other characteristics. Results showed that over 90% of the respondents pointed to Mang Inasal for having the best-tasting grilled chicken among 40 other brands the consumers were aware of.   “It’s inspiring to know that the people appreciate what we have been working hard for at Mang Inasal for the past 20 years -- which is to give our customers the best-tasting Chicken Inasal every day,” said Mang Inasal Business Unit head Mike V. Castro. “This will surely keep us going in serving more Ihaw-Sarap meals and Unli-Saya moments to all our customers.”     To mark this special milestone, a new  video advertisement  was produced, featuring Mang Inasal’s long-time brand am

A day of Love

What is it with Valentines Day that people are pretty much preoccupied on where to celebrate it or what to give to their loved ones on this day? Oh wait, it's a day to make someone special, that is. But I am pretty much sure that everyday can be special not just Valentines day. Because there should not be a waste of moment where you show your loved ones how much you value them and love them. People work their ass off just to provide for their family (J is one of them) but TIME is the most essential thing you can give your family and in time you can bring so much joy.

To avoid the traffic and the heart's day rush we had our pre-valentine dinner a day before and it was our monthsary also (yes we do commemorate it still). It was a simple family dinner with our kids. At first we were so hesitant to have a dinner date due to yayaless situation but I said, I don't think we have to sacrifice a dinner date just because we don't have a nanny. We can enjoy it as a family though.

Months ago, I purchased a food voucher from cashcashpinoy and it was primarily intended for a surprise dinner date for J but because the voucher didn't have a block out date on Valentines eve, I decided to have it booked then.

We had dinner at Royal Seafood Restaurant and enjoyed the fine dining ambiance with the kids. I am glad that at least they have a high chair (improvised) available for babies. The voucher includes steamed shrimps, garlic rice, spinach soup, taro puff and assorted cold cuts which i good for four pax. It was originally priced at p1,600 and only paid p499 for the meal. Little boy enjoyed the rice so much and spinach soup for my little girl.

This is one of our bonding moments that we should do more often and enjoy as a family. Even if it is close to impossible to dine with the kids, it is one way of molding them how to behave in a place like this. Glad they didn't pull the grumpy attitude while we are having dinner.
