Looking back 25 years ago, many technological evolutions today were unimaginable. Fast forward to 2023, where digital and technological ecosystems allow us to operate efficiently, capture and create content, watch our favorite shows, and connect with the world, all in one ecosystem.  As a global tech leader, Samsung has been at the forefront of providing revolutionary, cutting-edge innovation. Three T's

As I type this post, I can now loosen up because we just came from our pedia for my little girl's check-up. Last Wednesday she had fever and the highest was 38.8 degrees C. Yes, considered a low grade but for a nurse-mom like me I get paranoid sometimes especially when it is your own daughter's health. It was grueling since I am left at home and J went on an out of town legal audit. So just imagine I have two babies one is throwing tantrums at me and the other one is febrile. Plus I have tons of chores to do and I have to feed them also. During these times I wish a had extra help at home. But then again, I wouldn't resort to that kind of idea as I have abandoned it already. So it will only be me and J to take care of our kids minus the fact that he is on a work mode : out of town.

So when he came back from his out of town work, we went for a check-up. Since it was the first time we went, and despite the appointment, took us 2 hours just to wait for our turn. While waiting, she ordered for a CBC and platelet count and urinalysis. After an hour results came in. CBC results showed that she is slightly anemic whereas the urinalysis is normal. Anyway, for me 2 hours is worth the wait despite the rowdy toddler and the grumpy febrile baby, because I liked the new pedia which is recommended by my cousin who was once a resident at Manila Doctors Hospital. I like the way she explains well every detail of her patient's condition and how she deals with her patients.

Right now, I have this lightheaded sensation due to altered sleeping pattern related to monitoring my little girl's fever for three nights. I must say, this is more hard than going on a 16hour hospital duty with ventilated patients. Later, I can now sleep soundly because she has no more fever except that she had minimal maculopapular rash due to Roseola Infantum.

I rely much on my three t's for my baby's condition which is pretty much effective, Tempra (Paracetamol), thermometer and tepid bath. But despite the fever she had, she is still playful and has still the appetite which I am thankful for, plus she takes the medicine with so much ease.

Fever day 1

She can still show off her teeth despite the fever

Playful despite the 38.7 C temperature

After 30 minutes of finding the position of her comfort, she dozed off

She fell asleep while waiting for our turn during her pedia appointment

Did your babies experience the same? How did you go about it?

xoxo,
